Obituary for Edwin G. Connor

Edwin G. Connor, 79, of Momence, IL, died on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka, IL. He was born on March 29, 1939, in Chicago, IL, the son of Lyle and Harriet Hazeltine Connor. He married Patricia Terry on January 23, 1961 in Miami, FL. She survives.

He is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Edwin Jr. and Wendy Connor of Momence, IL, a daughter and son-in-law; Patricia and Kenneth Bellefeuille of Goldsboro, NC. Three step children; Stephen and Teri Greski of St. John, IN, Susan Greski of Momence, IL and Jeannie Greski of Momence, IL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one sister, June Rushing of Princeton, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Lyle Connor and Patrick Connor and two sisters; Murial Kroncke and Evelyn Znavor.

He was a veteran of the Air Force from 1957 – 59.He was a master mechanist with Abbot Laboratories in North Chicago, IL for 17 years. He was 32 degree Free Mason member of the Scottish Rite.He was 32 degree Free Mason member of the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed woodworking and could fix and repair anything. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his early years.
