She was born on December 18, 1907 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Karl R. and Ida Merk Stadelman. On May 6, 1933 she married Carl W. Meyer in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2001. Surviving is one daughter: Jean Meyer of Momence, IL. One daughter-in-law: Christine Meyer of Grant Park, IL. Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Meyer was also preceded in death by two brothers, one son (Fred C. Meyer) and a daughter and son-in-law: Phyllis and Leslie Matthias. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Momence.
