Mr. Behrends was born on May 25, 1939 in Essex, IL, the son of Raymond and Wilma Bull Behrends. Surviving is one son: Patrick Behrends. One sister and brother-in-law: Bonita and Kenneth Heldt of Grant Park, IL. One brother: Gayl Behrends and Judy Workman of Momence, IL. His companion: Carol Donnelly of Momence, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter (Leona Behrends). Mr. Behrends was a retired laborer from the Bennett Industries after working there for 20 years.
